Seize the Day!

Sometimes, in order to move forward

we must clear space in our lives.

Even if that means losing things we love.

letting go so you can move onto your bucket list life
In the end, only three things matter:

How much you loved.

How gently you lived.

And how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

It’s so hard to watch things we love fall apart:

Our relationships, our bodies, our families (including work team families).

They all have a shelf life.

But there’s a secret to combatting this decaying force.

Enjoy them now!

Seize the Day!

Own the moment!

My personal journey with this lesson:

I've had two friends for 17 years.  And I'll lose them both soon.

My Dogs

One is deaf, the other mostly blind.

I've had them so long, I don't know what my life will look like without them.

My days are not long with them,  I know that.

So I hold them often.  I let them know that it's okay to be confused by the decaying of their bodies.  I let them know that I will always love them.

Opportunities to relish in the things we love

are few,

and far between.

So Jump at the chance to see an old friend for lunch!

So Curl up with your old dog and let them fall asleep to your body warmth and heart beat!

So Relish in SOMETHING you LOVE today!
